I am currently working at Vizrt in the Research and Development Department. Vizrt are the world leaders in 2D and 3D real time broadcast graphic solutions. The solutions are for High Definition devices down to Mobile phones and include Character Generation, Content Management, Weather, Mapping, Virtual Studios and more

2004 until Summer 2005: Technology Manager for Digital Vision Ltd

Operationally controlling development teams, information technology and data teams day to day, defining and overseeing the delivery of projects, services and strategy along with the CTO I managed a team of 25 carrying out appraisals, recruitment, reviews and overseeing project development. This enabled the department to bring the benefits that technology can enable to Digital Vision on time and within budget.

2001 - 2004: Technologist - Digital Vision Ltd

Research, Develop and oversee the implementation of technologies and services within Digital Vision, to give consultancy to the Internet, Intranet and Extranet Services, and to give technical lead to product being produced by Digital Vision Ltd. Build and maintain back office systems and work as a figurehead for the motion and images technicalities and industry knowledge for Digital Vision.

1998 - 2001 Senior Designer - I-Way New Media Ltd

Design, create and build solutions for clients, partners and internally using Internet technologies, databases, streaming media and advanced TCP/IP solutions. Present solutions, price and pitch to Director level clients, and then manage the creation and build of solution with in house team and external contractors including outsourced eastern European programming houses.

1997 - 1998 Designer, Developer, Networking Specialist. - I-Way Ltd

Pre-sales, implementation, testing and configuration of IP based services with some front end design work on web based systems as needed.

1995 - 1997 Network Engineer, LDE Ltd

Working in a small team my role was varied and consisted of installing TCP/IP networks, Installing Internet connectivity (PSTN, ISDN, and Leased Lines), configuring routers, supporting Gatwick Baggage Handling systems, Building of PCs and configuring networks and servers. Providing telephone support where needed.
