Program Goal:
This application takes a folder full of images and analysis its dimensions, filesize, modified date, and orientation reporting into a Microsoft SQL 2000 database.
Adobe Photoshop with the scripting support was again used to create the image engine as it is most reliable source of image information.
Program Workflow:
Manually pointing the application at a folder will start off the process of running through all the images. It was tested with 32,000 images at a time, and could easily handle as many as the filesystem would allow.

Technologies used:
The application executable was built using Microsoft VB6, running on a dedicated Microsoft Windows 2003 server networked to another Microsoft Windows 2000 server running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for reporting.
Adobe Photoshop 7 with the Adobe Photoshop Scripting Plugin (now an integral part of Adobe Photoshop CS) where installed for the image processing. GFPrintPro could be utilised for image enlargement.
